Album Description
2010 release, the seventh album from the multi-million selling R&B artist. Following the success of his platinum selling 2008 release Here I Stand, Raymond v Raymond takes you on a journey through the dichotomy of man. Raymond v Raymond opens up another chapter of Usher's coming of age as he tells the story of balancing the challenges of day to day life as an evolving man while jumping back on the scene as a sex symbol and fearless superstar entertainer. With the help of some of the biggest producers in music including Polow Da Don, Jim Jonsin (Lollipop), Danja (Sober), and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Raymond v Raymond is sure to paint a vivid portrait of growth, triumph, defeat and happiness.

5 out of 5 stars Down memory lane:Welcome back Usher!   April 14, 2010

I think this is a great album. I've heard the first 10 songs on the album and my favorites are OMG, There goes my baby, monstar, mars v venus, and of course Lil Freak. I need to listen to the last 4 songs, but overall I love the album. Anyone who is considering the album I would say click on the songs on amazon that give you a feeling of each song to determine if you want to buy the cd. This album reminds me of his confessions and 8701 album. I am glad the usher I know is back because his last album Here I stand wasn't all that good to me (maybe it was because he got married. Usher needs to stay single to keep that music and swag going)compared to this album and his past albums. I believe "U" continues to grow as an artist and this album proved it. Great Album!

I'm a Usher fan and after his last cd I was a little scared about what he was going to come with but this cd is nice not his best but very entertaining.

As with most new albums, you really have to give it time to grow on you. I personally found a lot of these tracks very enjoyable right off the bat, and a couple had to grown on me. There is a really good mixture of club hits and slow jams! Usher is really a pioneer for the R&B genre, so my hat is off to him for coming up with a new flavor, but also catering to that old R&B sound we have grown to love about him. Worth the purchase hands down!

I am satisfied with this album. This album is going to go multi-platinum! He returns to his original medium-making songs into masterpieces that illuminate the struggle between man and legend. He has come into his own as a sage artist, skillfully capturing the stirring emotions of the human heart ina complete, balanced album in soul-stirring jams, in serious grown man fashion. This album is priceless!

This album is great. I am a huge Usher fan and he did not disappoint. I can listen to the whole album without skipping a song. OMG will be the biggest song/hit of the year. Pro Lover, Fooling Around, Making Love, Mars vs. Venus, are my fave songs on the album. The whole album is great. For the people that have gave this album a bad rating must not no good music. Usher is a world wide star not just r&b, so him having a pop/r&b album reaches more than one audience. Go Usher!!!!!!!!!11
